Hello my name is Maria, I own Dawg Gone It! I’m a Veterinary Assistant, a graduate of Algonquin College‘s Veterinary Assistant Program, class of 2006. My goal, as a pet professional, is to earn your trust and that of your pet to ensure your peace of mind. I strive to provide personalized care in a friendly, responsible and reliable fashion. I will take care of your pet, home, yard and possessions as though they are my own. I’m insured & bonded with PROfur and a member in good standing with Pet Sitters International.

Boarding facilities are often noisy and unfamiliar which can increase your pet’s stress. A constant human presence reduces your pet’s loneliness. A tummy rub and a good scratch behind the ears

You can relax, knowing that while you’re away, you can feel confident that your pet is in capable, qualified and professional caring hands. Before you go away, please tell your veterinarian, that I will be caring for your pet in the event they require hospitalization in your absence. I will, consult with your veterinarian, to stabilize your pet‘s health during an illness or emergency and provide treatment as directed until your return. I will provide you with regular updates and photos of your pet throughout their time spent with me.

INTERIOR HOME CARE
- Inspect overall interior condition of home
- Check timer-activated lights & adjust window coverings
- Contact a home security agent if required
- Look for signs of forced or unauthorized entry, theft or vandalism
- Contact Police if required
- Check & securely lock all doors & windows
- Check & ensure all major appliances are operational
- Dispose of garbage, compost & recycling
- Water indoor plants upon request
EXTERIOR HOME CARE
- Inspect overall exterior condition of the home
- Check timer-activated exterior lights for proper operation
- Look for signs of forced or unauthorized entry, theft or vandalism
- Contact Police if required
- Bring in mail, packages, newspapers & flyers
- Return of garbage, compost & recycling bins
- Check & securely lock garage doors
- Keep entrances free of debris, snow & ice
- Water exterior plants upon request
